Royal Machines HT88 Review
Royal Machines HT88 is one of the finest looking paper shredder in personal/home office paper shredder category. It can shred up to 8 sheets of paper in one pass and the 1/2 horsepower motor is powerful enough to shred credit cards and staples. The HT88 has a very nice looking design, and comes with a 4 gallon wire mesh wastebasket, so you can easily see how full the wastebasket is. Unlike in many other shredders, this model has an overheating protection. It will automatically detect when the motor gets too hot and stops down until it is cooled enough, so there’s no fear of accidentally breaking it. Overall, it is easy to operate and boasts a very nice design, making it suitable for any personal/small office use.

“…I have heard horror stories about shredders. They get jammed, they over heat, etc. But this is a great little machine. I don’t put tons of papers in at a time, but I do use it everyday. It sits next to my file cabinet, ready to go. It has a small footprint and it’s not very loud at all. The shredding unit pops off easily to empty the basket. It’s also light weight and easy to handle. I would reccomend this Royal shredder…”

“…This is a great shredder for a great price. I’ve had about three years worth of papers that needed to be shredded and it did the job without even jamming once. The only issue I came across is the overheating issue but that was because I was feeding in 6-7 pages at once non stop for more than 2 minutes. Overheating is a side effect of all good cross cutting shredders anyway…”
